Science Question:
Does the size of a delta on Mars depend on the size of the channel?

Main Results:
1) In the image that we took we found landslides and lava flows. There was possible water flow in image V17521003. In conclusion we found many sedimentary deposits on Mars, we found mostly landslides, and it takes many more images to accurately answer our science question.

2) Deltas on Mars are hard to find if they’re even there.

3) We did find sediment deposits.

" It was exciting how the entire class interacted with each other. It was fun working together as a team and searching for channels and deltas! It was fun when we got to collect data of all the images and figure out the scales. I liked having to do the work of putting together the proposal because it really challenged us."

"Taking a picture of Mars was really cool! I might not ever get to do that ever again. It is not every day that a person gets to take a picture from a satellite that is orbiting Mars. I thought that it was really cool to look at pictures of Mars and think to myself that our class took that. I am glad that I got to do this because most students my age won’t ever get to do this."

" I liked looking at channels, deltas, and landslides on Mars because it gives us a chance to look at stuff outside of our Earth. I wish we could have found more! It took a lot more images than I thought it would to come up with an answer. This process took a lot more time than I thought it would take. This involved a lot more research than I expected."
