Science Question:
What is the shape of ice on Mars and did the wind impact the ice formation?
Main Results:
1) Similar forces on Mars to that on Earth would play a roll in the ice formation. This is seen in the similarities of the pictures of Earth and the THEMIS image of Mars.

2) It appears that the shape and structure of the ice on Mars is a result of the Martian atmosphere and wind movement. Some scientists believe that solar winds created vaporization of water and formed ice water on Mars.

3) It is difficult to study the ice with such a high albedo in the image.

Extra Comments:
1) "It was a bit of a challenge but we learned a lot" (Rachel)

2) "We all generally enjoyed this project" (The team)

3) "We will need more images to solve the questions of the Martian Polar Ice" (Rachel)
