Science Question:
Is it possible to tell the relative age of two of Pavonis Mons’ lava flows, one on the west side and one on the east by comparing their crater counts?
Main Results:
1) Crater counts from a single source may not provide correct data.

2) Absolute age is very difficult to determine from image data.

3) We do not have enough information to make an accurate absolute age of the two flows.

Period E23 Final Report

Extra Comments:
1) MSIP taught us to work well with other people.

2) This project is more grown up, and is a lot more challenging. It was fun to do.

3)MSIP put a lot of responsibility on us.
