Science Question:
Can you tell if there is a relationship between the diameter of a splosh crater and how far out an ejecta blanket goes? If so can you tell how powerful the impact had been?
Main Results:
1) There is no obvious relationship between the diameter of a crater and the size of its “splosh.”

2) Splosh craters come in a wide variety of sizes.

3) Some other factor other than diameter must control the size of the “splosh.”

Period E5 Final Report

Extra Comments:
1) We learned a lot about Mars.

2) I was really proud when I saw our final report!

3) It was cool to see all of our work on a PowerPoint that we showed to everyone. I was proud!
