Science Question:
Do lava flows on Mars show lavas that are high in viscosity or low in viscosity? How does the rheology of the lava affect the morphology of the Martian surface?
Main Results:
The hypothesis, that is the lava flows near Arsia Mons show characteristics of viscous lavas compared to that of Mauna Loa, it will be shown that shield volcanoes erupt lavas similar in viscosity, was supported.
